Paulicians also known as Tazigan and Tsabis or Alevis (Turkish language: Aleviler or Alevilik) are adherents of an endogamic religious community which spread abroad from the territory of the Byzantine Empire.

They are Messianic Noahides but not Edom nor Ishmael though sharing characteristics of both. One could describe them as Edumean-Ishmaelites.
