Aba, somewhere between the 520s and 720s, became the E-Y6940 clan descended from Pata and his Jewish wife. The House of Aba became the ancestors of many Ashkenazi lineages. It was also from the House of Aba that Batbayan-Bezmer descended. This Transylvanian clan converted to Judaism in the mid 700s.
