Kubiar-Cozars or Cowari were three Kazarig-Cozar tribes who revolted against Chouvrtou's successor Batbayan-Bezmer.

677-? — the first Kubiar or Kouver revolt was in Sirmium forcing Batbayan-Bezmer to give up and withdraw to Cuzdrioara and Carpathia.

680s the Kubiar tribe of Asparukh conquered Thrace.

690s the Second Kubiar tribe to secede was Kotrag who founded Volga Bulgaria and whose descendants under Tuvan would establish the Rus' Khaganate.
