Y-DNA Haplogroup E-V6 (Polus). The Targum translates this as Pontsikhnai or Pantsekhyaanaei, probably denoting Pentaschoinos. This is a district in Egypt later referred to as Dodekaschoinos.

Polus was the father of Africa's southernmost Gibborim. The name was applied because his people were closest to the Pole.
