The '''Kereian''' (ܩܪܐܢ lectionary) is a  madnhâyâ script Garshuni compilation of spiritual lessons (lectionaries) from ܐܠܡܢܝܒ given by the Shama'ani/Ashma'ithi Kahans to those who have taken clerical vows among the Kypchaqs of the Kara-Tat, Kiraim-Tat, Khvar-Tat, and Gok-Tat hordes of the [[Kereit]] (Karaylar).

It seems to have originated in the vicinity of modern Jordan between the years 604CE and 628CE among those preserving the lifestyle of the clerical families evicted from Mount Izla and Nusaybin by Babai "the Great" of the Nestorian Church.

By the divine's name all kind, all merciful,<sup>002:001</sup> ΠΆΣΧΩ<sup>002:002</sup> that (O minister) is the text of no doubt,  whereof is teaching unto the pious<sup>002:003</sup> who trust in the visions, and establish communion, and spend of that WE (ܨܦܐܬ ܐܠܠܗ) have bestowed upon them,<sup>002:004</sup> and those who trust in that which is revealed unto thee (O minister), with that which was revealed from before thee, while being certain of the hereafter.<sup>002:005</sup> these such are on teaching from their master, and these such, they are the successful.

But they perceive not.<sup>002.013</sup> Once it is said unto them: "Believe as the people believe" they ask: "Shall we believe as the foolish believe?" Are not they indeed the foolish? But they know not.<sup>002.014</sup> Once they fall in with those who believe they say: "AMEN" but when they go apart to their devils they declare: "Lo! we are with you verily we did but mock."<sup>002.015</sup> Divinity makes a mockery of them leaving them to wander blindly on in their contumacy.<sup>002.016</sup> These are they who purchase error at the price of guidance so their commerce doth not prosper neither are they guided.<sup>002.017</sup> Their likeness is as the likeness of the one whose kindled fire such that it sheds its light around his shadow. The subject of The DIVINE taketh away their light and leaves them in darkness where they cannot see.<sup>002.018</sup> Deaf, dumb, and blind, and they repent not.<sup>002.019</sup> Or like a rainstorm from the sky wherein is darkness thunder and the flash of lightning. They thrust their fingers in their ears by reason of the thunder-claps for fear of death, but The DIVINE encompasses the disbelievers.<sup>002.020</sup> The lightning almost snatching away their sight from them as often as it flashes forth for them. They walk therein but when it darkens against them they stand still. If The DIVINE willed it could destroy their hearing and their sight Lo! The DIVINE is Able to do all things.
